Video: Flames Carry Mumbai Menorah’s Light Skyward

Hundreds of people crowded in the small alley outside of Mumbai, India’s central Chabad-Lubavitch to witness a public Chanukah menorah lighting outside the six-story building destroyed in last month’s terror attacks.

Standing 25-feet tall, the steel menorah was lit by a torch carried by Rabbi Nachman Holtzberg, father of Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, the Chabad House director who perished alongside his wife Rivka.

At the Thursday evening ceremony, Chabad officials reiterated their pledge that the holy work the Holtzbergs’ devoted their life towards would not only continue, but increase. (Video: Shmuel Rivkin)
