The entire cosmos climbs upward.

The elements move upward to grow as living things.

Those growing, living things rise upwards, consumed by creatures that swim, run, fly, love and fear.

Animals, too, may be elevated into the realm of a conscious being that acts with enlightened mindfulness.

And this intelligent being, to where can s/he rise?

To the ultimate fulfillment of intellect, a place that existed before Mind was born, a place without constriction or borders.

This is the act of doing good for the sake of good alone.

Based on letters and talks of the Rebbe, Rabbi M. M. Schneerson

"To the ultimate fulfillment of intellect, a place that existed before Mind was born, a place without constriction or borders."
This place is reached when we are becoming One with Him and in Him. When our will along with our all being (body and soul) becomes One with His. Beautiful!

Thank you!
Thank you so very much, Rabbi Freeman, for allowing G-d to guide you toward sending these words to our hearts today. Thank you for bringing the words of the Rebbe, of righteous memory, to those of us who missed them the first time.

May the Holy One, blessed be He, continue to grant you His kindness and wisdom to shine forth His holy Light forever.

dear rabbi....there are times when i have reached the point of "doing good for the sake of good alone"....but, alas, too few times. it is a state to which we strive to attain. thank you for the inspiration. your wisdom is often just what i need at any given time. i ask blessings on your work. & bless all the people of g-d.
