Wisdom and Bread

Tear off a piece of your bread before you eat. You cannot fit it all into your mouth.

Do the same with wisdom. For Truth does not begin with Mind.

There is-
a consciousness beyond our minds, which does indicate a G-d above us.

The questions then are how to reach that consciousness, and whether we even should attempt to reach it?

G-d, no doubt, has good reasons why He placed us below His range of consciousness.

Amongst those reasons, no doubt, is to prevent us from thinking that we are g-ds ourselves, rather than subordinate to the One True G-d above us all.

All the houses of faith, to varying degrees, exalt idolatry and encourage their congregants to abandon their rational minds.

Islam is the only other one besides Judaism that actually worships the One True G-d, yet like the other faiths it makes the error of demanding it's adherents to abandon their raltional minds,-

with disasterous results for the world.

You (the Jewish people) were set apart to pursue G-d's truth through the mind first.

The purpose of the birthright is so you could sustain a relationship with G-d without denying your minds.

No other way.

Wisdom and Bread
Dear Rabbi,
I do not know exactly where I am at today but I just tear up reading this. Tear off a piece of bread before I eat because I can not fit all to my mouth anyway! Always consider people around me because I truly cam not make it on my own. Baruch HaShem. Amen.

Truth
Jacob´s wrestling with the angel of God -or the protecting angel of Esau- is similar to wrestling against Truth. It is only until your hip joint is touched by Truth that you realize that that is truly the Truth. Like in Jacob's case healing may take more than a year but it would be beyond any doubt that that the Truth was.

Little by little
Little by little we can digest the nourishment and not just the food....but age doesn't give us a free ticket for inner peace.

Wisdom and Bread
I've wrestled with this one for three days and can see where truth would not begin with the mind because of the mind's ability to rationalize and justify. I can also see where the heart is also unreliable because of emotional thinking. That takes me to the soul; am I thinking this through correctly?
