If you are serving the same G‑d today as you served yesterday, whom are you serving but yourself?

Can G‑d be frozen and defined? Does He get older with each day? Does He eventually, then, become of a relic of the past?

Where there is love and where there is awe, there is endless wonder.

Maamar Tziyon Bemishpat Tipadeh, 5736

No Repeats, Re: Monty Pagoda
I am quoting, "How can G_d change? He is always the same..."

In my own way of thinking, "G_d is all knowing....G_d has ESP, and i believe He is actively and continuously causing and changing the happenings we experience. if i am sick, He helps me. if i am well, it is because G_d put other people in my life...i.e. doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacies and pharmacists...to help me get well. G_d is the cause of everything that happens in our world, at least that is my own way of thinking about it.

Yes, i am always in a tumult about such happenings as the holocaust. Not why, but how did our ancestors manage to get thru one day to the next under the circumstances? how did the survivors manage to recover from such horror and build an apparently normal-looking life in this country?

This is a reminder to stay inspired
and that our prayers should not become "stale"
I think. Yes, He is consistent (not frozen or defined) and we must be consistent...consistently mindful, tuned in, inspired ! B"H we have Chabad.org to help with that. :)

"Where there is love and where there is awe, there is endless wonder."

I once read a remarkable book called, Chassidic Insigths by Mattis Kantor. In this book the author discusses his concept of the essence of hashem.

If and when a person is able to feel "where there is love and where there is awe", there is endless wonder". It has been my experience, to wonder endlessly, and ceaselessly, and all of creation is a miracle. It is magical.

The book I mentioned by Mattis Kantor, uses an analogy about our brains being 'like' a well. What happens when a Jew says to another, "nu?"

Theword 'nu' means well, and the brain is like a well. The brain is a "well of ideas", so that when someone says to you 'nu?'
you get an idea how to think of an answer.

I am forever grateful to the author, Mattis Kantor, for what this insight has given me. Endless Wonder has given me much joy.

Thank you.

each day
this last sentence is beautiful because it is so true, and to see this, I believe is to enter into life in a renewed way. Because it's all wonder, and it's all ONE, and that perception is endless and continuous, in its uncovering.

I took a pastel course the other day, and woke thinking about this word, containing as it does PAST and EL. I think our concept of G_d is meant to evolve and that what WAS and what IS for each of us, is a changing landscape in terms of what we divine, about what is Divine. Since we're changing all the time, in every way, our conception of G_d should not be fixed in time, but augmented, as the days and the daze go by. Yes to AWE.

Without AWE we are not truly Alive to what IS: the colors, the ever changing colors, of our days. Paint the sky with stars.

The return of the 59/60th
Upon awakening, not necessarily when my eye's open, I walk my dog in the forest where I live. It is truly Wonderous to be aware that it is the same desolate wilderness as yesterday, but recognizing the changes in His Creation; wild flowers popping out of the earth, fallen trees returning to the soil from where they sprouted hundreds of yeas ago. Or the snow raining down, purified tiny unique fractals. I don't know how He does it, but it's amazing. And then the night time sky where there are uncountable stars in the Heavens, some blinking while others are pure streams of light. We are truly Blessed. Baruch Hashem.
