אני ישנה ולבי ער

ועתה שמע אלקינו אל תפלת עבדך ואל
תחנוניו והאר פניך על מקדשך השמם

הנה עין הוי׳ אל יראיו

בינו בוערים בעם וכסילים מתי תשכילו

|
| "He who implants the ear surely hears"
הנוטע אוזן הלא ישמע אם יוצר עין הלא יביט

|
| "The end of the matter, all having been heard..."
סוף דבר הכל נשמע

|
| "How manifold are Your creations, O L-rd."
מה רבו מעשיך הוי׳

| "Rabbah the son of Rav Huna said: 'A person possessing Torah.."
אמר רבה בר רב הונא כל אדם שיש בו תורה

| "Give ear, my G-d, and hear."
הטה אלקי אזנך ושמע

הוי כי גדול היום ההוא

| "The L-rd is close to all who call Him."
קרוב ה׳ לכל קוראיו

| "One hour of repentance and good deeds in this world is better..."
יפה שעה אחת בתשובה ומעשים טובים

|
|
|
| "Though my skin has been torn from my body.."
ואחר עורי נקפו זאת

|
|
|
|
|
| "I am [drawn] to my friend and my friend is [drawn] to me."
אני לדודי ודודי לי

|
|
|
| "And it shall be on that day that a great Shofar shall be sounded."
והי׳ ביום ההוא יתקע בשופר גדול

| "Better the Torah of Your mouth..."
טוב לי תורת פיך

|
| "By the word of the L-rd the heavens were made."
בדבר ה׳ שמים נעשו
