My oldest was 6 weeks old. Thank you for posting this. It's been 28 years since I have attended the parade. I will be there Sunday!

Keeping Moshiach Away
If only we would heed the Rebbe's message!! There are so many in our community who treat fellow Jews even worse than they treat non-Jews. For such reasons was the second Temple destroyed--and by such individuals is "Ahavas Yisroel" made into simply an empty phrase.

If we want Moshiach, we must call ourselves and one another to account for the pettiness and diviseness that runs rampant in so many of our communities.

Respecting our teachers and each other
This is a beautiful speech. I have a great deal of respect for our Chabad Rabbi, we are blessed with him.
I only hope my ignorance is not mistaken for disrespect.
