To a Jewish activist in a dangerous Arab land:

Strengthen your awe of heaven and you will diminish your fear of human beings.

fear no one
This could apply to the overbearing, critical, terse bosses and coworkers, too. Or anyone who makes me feel anxious and defensive. I noticed that trusting G-d does not make the panic attacks go away any faster. BTW, got copies of your BHDTE Vol.1 and Vol.2... you have a bit of talent there, Rabbi Tzvi! Have you ever considered developing a book devoted to the Rebbe's biography with your own verse and opinion liberally mixed in? I'd buy it!

Thanks for DD!

Words to live by in any situation
I agree with this statement, and would add that it not only applies to a Jew in a dangerous Arab land, but to any Jew in any nation, religious or secular, as well as any circumstance one may find themselves in. I have awe of heaven and it really DOES diminish fear of other human beings, for, as King David said: "What can man do unto me?"

Very Helpful
This short line is simple, but so helpful. We are so often led by the opinions or perceptions of other people...even if we think we are strong enough to "not care".

the Besht
I love what the Baal Shem Tov's father told him as he was breathing his last-- "son, fear nothing and no one, but G-d"
