What Lies Inside

Within each thing we behold, the moshiach dwells, like the embryo waiting to break out of its egg. In the rhythm of a dandelion shivering in the breeze, in the eyes of the children we raise, in the goals we make in life, in the machines we use and the art we create, in the air we breathe and the blood rushing through our veins.

When the world was made, the sages say, the moshiach was the wind hovering over all that would be.

Today, those who know to listen can hear his voice beckoning, "Do no let go of me after all these ages! For the fruit of your labor and the labor of your holy mothers and fathers is about to ripen."

The listening alone is enough to crack the shell of the egg.

What lies inside
If i may ask; is the moshiach more "what lies inside" than a physical human being?

I was just wondering about that.

Thanks again for the beautiful condensation.

In The Beginning
G-d created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.

And a wind from G-d moved over the surface of the waters.

And G-d said, Let there be light: and there was light...

I can't begin to say....
..... how much these breathtaking little jewels mean to me and, I would presume, many others. In league with all the other great stuff I subscribe to, the Daily Dose never fails to stop me in my tracks, and when I resume my stride, my gait has changed. My perspective of the world is altered and I thank Hashem.

Listening
What a dfficult, yet necessary skill it is to listen.

One should be aware that it is a skill that requires practice and patience......we all need to be better listeners!

Let us keep practicing and learning!

Listening to G*d's Gifts--
Shalom,
"The listening alone is enough to crack the shell of the egg."

The listening is enough to crack my HEART and The Compassionate One can enter in joy and laughter and light as I listen at this moment to Shubert's sweetest Violin & Piano Fantasy; not only to enter from the crack of brokenness in sadness and loss where I have welcomed G*d's embrace, but from the crack in the sidewalk where drops of water nourish the seeds of the unwanted weed in my grass, the magical Breath-blown dandelion.

Visiting my children in Boston for Seders, I saw the Divine One's manifesting delight in the dirt. I saw the cracks in the earth where the tulips and daffodils were breaking through in G*d's glory. Home in sunny Los Angeles the ground does not get hard enough to create the cracks, so the birth is more subtle in LA. Our earth is not cold enough to "ripen" bright red tulips. Listen to the sound of the tulips shining. Yellow forsythia blossoms I also miss. Thank you Hashem for gifts of Hod.

What Lies Inside
Thanks for the reminder - to be still - to listen. Even if the world calls us "cracked" we know we are just listening and what is being cracked is that outer shell - that shell we hide our real selves behind in the process.
