Galut

It is not so much that we need to be taken out of exile.

It is that the exile must be taken out of us.

exile
I am exclusive by nature. I didn't know that that is the same as putting myself in exile. My daughter said, "If you don't spread the table of G-ds blessings you have received out in front of other people, how are they to know how much He is blessing you? You glorify and praise G-d when you show other people what he has done in your life.

It's both
We need to be taken out of Golus (exile) and Golus needs to be taken out of us.

Exile,...or freedom??
Does exile lead to freedom? I think it depends what you are in exile from. Are we running away from something, or running to something (or perhaps someone on both accounts.) That certainly sets the tone of your time in exile. It can be heaven or it can be hell, your choice. Since we are given the gift of free will, it is most certainly up to me how I can live this life of exile. Blessings to you, whoever has taken the time to read this.

as the BESHT said...
We need to be humble enought to admitt that nowadays, exile is witihin us; no longer imposed as we often say as an excuse.
Now that G-d opened the gates to the land once again, should not the sons of Israel remember the comandament?
''the answer was so deep and clear, that the question appears simple and foolish.''
