Mental Limits

Just as wisdom is not something you can touch with your hands,
so G‑dliness is not something you can grasp with your mind.

The mind cannot experience G‑d.
G‑d is not an idea.
G‑d is real.

G‑d is better found in inspired deeds than in inspiring thoughts.

BE WITHIN STAY ABOVE
anything posted about God gets our attention rabbi...i like what you posted...God is everywhere...in and out....reaching out to us...longing for a relationship with us....He created us for His good pleasure...as a child i was beaten & forced to sit in the sun..once i heard a thought ,,,[not audible] ,,that resonated in first person,
" do not cry, you need the water from your tears for endurance & one of these days you will be grown-up & you will not have to bake like this"...
God has never stopped speaking to me via my conscience or whatever one wants to call it...
i know the abuse moved Him with loving compassion, sorrow, and mercy towards me.....but in way in am lucky...because i was in a home void of God...and God came hard after me...i did not have to do anything.!..i learned later as a teen more about God...& about 10 yrs ago some jewish ancestry....
i was blessed by observing shauvot recently ...& am growing...it will take a lifetime to catch up...

thanks
Another pearl of wisdom. Guess i had Him ' limited ' in my mind. I still think the mind part helps, even if it is too illusory/unreal .

But no argument, you can't beat deeds. Deeds trump thoughts every time. Forgot that it applies to Him too.

Getting sane through inspiration fr. G-D
I had an experience that was definitely G-d driven...On the way to a Housing Authority to get an apartment based on how poverty stricken you are...I was stomping my feet saying that I was definitely going to get it get it, get it. You know...raising my fist and all...then I get there and allll these people are dressed in their best?? No. I was dressed in my best as I always am. These people..were dressed in clothes that were never washed at-all and their behaviour was that of desperate people banging on the glass asking to see the one in charge immediately...and I was standing there...in my clean clothes...always...in clean clothes and I felt so very bad I felt that I didn't deserve this apartment at all that they deserved it and I was going to walk out when the woman at the front desk asked for my papers...and took them...I walked home...three miles...

Wisdom is abstract & a blessing from comes from Yahweh, not from academic qualifications. The purpose of our lives on earth is in fact to experience Godliness through purification.
Inspired deeds are only through inspired thoughts. The deeds are the results of the thought.
I am curious - are your Daily Doses deliberate to check if they are read!! I ask this in good humour!

Mental Limits
Thank you , rabbi. I was so discouraged, did not really understand your answer yesterday either, but I am so glad that it is not the matter of my mind. I know there are many famous Jewish people, genius level. They are also very articulate, expressing things in ways I do not think of before. In one gathering there was a rabbi from England who talked about history into today events and I was so touched. Do inspired deeds are achievements of certain nobility ? What would be something I an average person with certain love to the L-rd considered so in my daily activities? And where does my failure stand?

Who is the "I" who can be missing something?
I suppose in the realm of functionality via structure, you are correct.

But in the realm of simultaneously holding all the precepts in One, all-emcompassing structure-function, the Rabbi's creed holds.

For in every singular mind, there are limited resources of cognition and conceptual items able to be in a working thought at any given time.

So perhaps in a collective body of thought, then a wider knowing, that is knowing-itself, only then becomes possible.

I 100% agree!
G‑d is better found in inspired deeds than in inspiring thoughts.

Am I missing something?
How would we know if anything is beyond our comprehension? There is no concept that interested me that I have sought to understand and failed to understand. In terms of ethics, I see what comes around goes around and vice versa. In terms of science, electromagnetism and chemical properties explains any phenomena. Ethics and science combined summarize in the mathematics of music. In music, material ideas subject to quality and interactivity, meet with spiritual concepts such as signal, amplification, rate, and resonance.
