Just as it is a mitzvah to direct someone onto the path where he belongs, so too it is a crime to direct someone onto a path that does not belong to him.
Each person is born with a path particular to his or her soul, generally according to the culture into which he or she was born.
There are universal truths, the inheritance of all of us since Adam and Noah. In them we are all united. But we are not meant to all be the same.
Our differences are as valuable to our Creator as our similarities.

My heart goes out to you and I do not know your circumstances and would never judge
you. Pray That Hashem gives your son the clarity- sound mind, to find his way back home.
However, I must state that if we would all live a Torah life and not just be "Jews in our
hearts" or be "spiritual" simply as a concept
but rather apply it to our lives, perhaps this
would not occur...
Your son is a full fledged Jew. We should all pray for one another, may Hashem Help...

If this is a truth then why would my son born to fully Jewish Mother and Father become a Christian. He is married to a Jewish woman and has Jewish children.
Is his soul and path Christian???

It is certainly true that we each have a unique path to follow, but I'm not sure it has much to do with ancestry. Otherwise, why would one become a Baal Teshuvah? Why would one convert to Judaism and become an entirely new being?
In any case Halachah, Jewish law, especially the Shulchan Aruch, Code of Jewish Law, is non-negotiable. This was written for all; for every Jew from every walk of life. This is Hashem talking to us through Tzaddikim, righteous people. Hashem provided them with Ruach Hakodesh- divine
inspiration. So we do not get to pick and choose when it comes to the Torah.
No matter what our heritage, many of us face similar challenges, but this does not give us permission to compromise on Jewish law!

Rabbi, somehow whenever the talk comes under this title it helps me a lot. I am frequently function under authority and/or constant learning/practice of some tasks which are not really my cup of tea! In conforming for the sake of harmony, I still can not and do not want to become the other. Yet, particular in teacher-student kind of relationship some people assume my bending as for their own production of "clone"- the term actually was used. I thank the Rebbe so much and thank you for reminding me I am special in my own terms in front of our Creator.

Why? So many well intended family members and friends, try to instruct the young people, when in fact G-d has already "charted" out their paths. As their parents we are to encourage our children to become sensitive to G-d's directions and to believe in what He, our Creator, desires for them to do while on this planet to prepare it for the arrival of the Moshiach.
This Daily Dose is one I really got excited about!!!!!! Good one, great job. Thank you.
