Just the Two of You

Worry is self-humiliation. Trust is dignity.

To worry is to worship the world. To fall on your knees in dread and grovel before it.

To trust is to lift up your eyes and stand as tall as the heavens. To live with nothing else but the bond between G‑d above and you below.

concept of worry
I worry. I worry when my children go to parties and drive cars. I am happy for them. But I worry. i worry that my livlihood will continue to amply support family. I am a punctual person. If i am running late i worry about the person i may be keeping waiting. On the other hand, if someone else is running late, i consider it normal and will hang tough for 30 minutes with no problem. These are only a few examples amongst many. Regarding your words of Inspiration in my world, the constant is that G-d will only help those who help themselves. Being aware of where you are is not always a cakewalk. Worry is an alert system, and when done only when necessary, is healthy.
This opinion is tendered with all due respect, as was my comment regarding G-d who surrounds us. G-d is omnipresent, and always in a state of Heaveness.
Shalom.

trust
This is exactly where I am and needed to hear this, as usual when I read these. My trust must always be in G-d for true joy and I would welcome some real joy, so will keeping my will entrusted to G-d.

G-d above
I like to think of G-d's presence, Shechina, below with us and surrounding us.. Not only on a minyan. Not only on Shabbat ( Bride ), but at all times. It's just more comfortable. It also has this meaning from the Modeh Ani, where we are prostrate before Him, and the phrase "Melech chai ". It is further alluded to prophet Micah and others : " Walk humbly with your G-d ".
Thank you for making the point , just the two of us.

Trusting God
Thank you so much - I really needed to hear that! You are right, I am humiliated and I should be for worrying about lack of adequate job and dwindling savings. G-d has always come through for me before and will again.

This a a description of my situation
Actually I have enough reason to worry.
Pain, having been in hospital, they can't help me; and with all this Xmas-excitement around me, I feel so homesick for at least some Jews.
Therefore what you wrote was a wonderful reminder.
Its true, I have nobody than G-d. It was so good to be reminded of it. That He took everything and everybody from me must be a sign of His Love. Thank you for reminding me !

Trust and Faith
Faith is believing that G-d is ABLE to help me: Trust is believing G-d WILL help me.
