Isn't this the whole meaning of life in this world: To choose between bondage to the material world and believing that your life comes from those many forces,--

Or to choose true life and to believe that all your needs and all your concerns come only from the one Source of All Life.

Based on letters and talks of the Rebbe, Rabbi M. M. Schneerson
From the wisdom of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, of righteous memory; words and condensation by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman. To order Rabbi Freeman’s book, Bringing Heaven Down to Earth, click here.

The Choice revised
Which choice one makes is, of course, critical to fulfilment, but the value to me of this Daily Dose is that you still and always have a choice. So if one is caught up in the material world and serving the material world's masters, one may still choose to reject the chains of the material world and connect with the One Source.

The Choice
Although, I choose the spiritual life, I'm not so sure there is a correct choice. The fact that I have a choice IS the meaning of life. It's when people forget they have that choice, i.e. ignore the existence of the spiritual life, that they are enslaved by the material world. And in choosing the spiritual life, I think it's not that you reject the material world, but just that you put the material world in its place - to serve the greater purpose of the spiritual life. N'est pas?

Choice
I believe all choices lead to the same place being G-D. I am totally aware of G-D's presence... thou shalt bind it for a sign. In all that I do, wherever I go I KNOW as I am being totally messaged.

The choice
G-d give us many choices in life. It's up to us to make the right choice. Some times we make the wrong one. It doesn't mean all is lost, because G-d will pick us up and give us another chance. This is what believing is all about. Believe in him and you will survive.
