If you were there and the Romans or the Babylonians were about to destroy Jerusalem and you had the power to do something about it, would you sit and mourn and cry?

Or would you turn the world upside down to change history?

So what is stopping you? Overturn the world today!

Based on letters and talks of the Rebbe, Rabbi M. M. Schneerson

You write like a warrior. You have taken the commentary of Ghnm and properly censured it. It is an arrogant soap box sermon, a real turnoff to Judaism.

You are reminiscent of Miriam, one of the greatest rebels in Judaism. After all the losses of children, she told her people to rebel. Rebel against depression, rebel against apathy, rebel against hopelessness. When the men divorced their wives so that no more children would die, Miriam told her father, a leader of the men , they must reunite with their wives, Her prophesy was that a leader of the Jews would be born, and he would lead them out of Egypt. At 137 years of age, Jocheved gave birth to Moses.

To quote from another article, " As bitter as their lives became, their faith grew stronger ".

Miriam overturned the world in Egypt, and changed history. It is an example for men and women.

Yes, my dear anonymous, Ghnm, I know that we are at war in several aspects and I understand that Torah gives specific instruction on how to go about it. That is the problem, you know so much, yet you know little. I am a strong woman, have been through a lot in my life. Finding out about my ancestors, and seeing Jewish people behavior towards us make me ill. I do not consider myself negative, I am extremely positive. That is the reason why, although not so young, still fighting to return where Hashem has shown me where I belong. But someone like you, is trying to bring us down. Hashem is ahead of us. I do all the things you mention, I pray, promote, supply, support and study Torah. Also research for my roots. Finally, I am trying to understand why the call from Hashem. You should do something to help the Sephardic Jews, as a Jew you are! Lip service is not enough!!!! To the march, go on worrior!!!!

The Rebbe isn't asking for opinions
So many excuses from the ignorant, fearful (baseless) and the heretic. If you'd learn some Torah, you'd clearly understand.

The only purpose for Jews is to study and follow Torah, which will guide us all on the proper path. Without the Torah, there is no Judaism, period.

Make no mistake, we are at war in several aspects. The Torah gives us specific instruction on how to go about it and who is excused from battle. Particularly those faint of heart /fearful or the ghetto mentality are exused from battle so your fear and negativity don't contaminate the warriors. But, if you're Jewish, you're not excused from the war. You can pray, plan, promote, supply food and other support, and study Torah.

When you understand why our souls were placed in these physical bodies you will understand the meanings of avodah, holy, mundane, and our obligations as Jews.

Our souls don't require a head, arms, legs and a brain just to provide lip service alone or to sit on the floor to mourn.

Revolution
The way i take the message has to do with The Rebbe's Jewish American Revolution. In the 1950's Jews of America and globally were turning away from Judaism in droves. The Rebbe's first job under the Sixth Rebbe was to start a revolution to revitalize Jewish life in the Western Hemisphere and around the globe. This he did for 7 decades, and the outreach programs continue.

As for Jews who are disillusioned by a Chabad Rabbi's lack of warmth, fear not. What you say is true. Chabad operates on a hierarchy system. Status and control obscure the Chabad philosophy to accept all Jews respectfully. Where you encounter such arrogance, keep tuned to Chabad.org. Here you are accepted and respected. Chabad.Org via internet is the best outreach program that Chabad offers. It is here where the revolution is taking place. The internet is their most vital tool. If your rabbi turns you off, tune in here.

Turning it up aide down now (or anytime)
I had only one thought as I was reading the article / post "WHAT IN THE WORLD is any of that GOOD FOR". We have to shift energy because everything works on energy and consciousness. However, your suggestion leaves me thinking that this kind of behavior would not heal anything it would only add fuel to fire.

Bob Marley and Che
Reggae artist Marley said it in a song :

Get up. Stand up. Stand up for your rights !

Che used it as a rallying cry : Vencermos ! ( Forward as in forward march )

There are probably a million versions from our Jewish leaders ... for example , Never Again !

Revolution
A revolution without union will not succeed! You are asking the Jewish nation to do something, but you are keeping us separated. By not accepting the call from Hashem that He is given His children. I have spoken with many Jewish people. Visited your synagogue, and all I see is rejection. Descrimination among our people is a great sin. I might not be a scholar. There is a lot to learn still about "the Jewish" way. But I have experience a revolution. I know what it is all about. I have experience rejection, descrimination, and hate. I have tasted it all. But I still love my people. I love the world because I see Hashem all over it. His love and compassion is all over. But His patient is about to burst. Because of men's arrogance and lack of understanding. All "religious" men claim to be holier than the other. But where is Hashem's compassion in your heart and mind? where is your understanding? Your understanding is your own. You rely on it, not on Hashem's. With all my respect. Key-Love!

WHY?
The point is not to overturn the world.

The point is to prevent the Temple from being destroyed.

But it's already destroyed, and a mosque sits on the site where we would rebuild.

You want us to overturn the mosque? NO. You don't want us to overturn the mosque.
That is for GD to do, not us.

And we don't want to overturn anything else either.

We want to BUILD.

So what in the world are you thinking of, with such a post?

Did the Rebbe say this?

What inthe world was HE thinking of?

You really should be careful what tyou recommend.

I can think of many unfortunate actions that could be stimulated by your post.

And few, if any, beneficial actions.
