Before you scold a member of your household, raise your consciousness of who this is and where you stand. This is a child of the Master of the Universe. And you stand before Him, scolding His child.

HONORING G-D'S CREATION
Sometimes i am amazed at people who are so polite to the grocer, dry cleaner, store clerk, etc. They are patient and understanding with them, then i have seen them turn to their OWN child or spouse and talk to them like they were some odious street creature. Our children espcially, need to be given the same respect that one would offer to a near stranger. I have always been amazed by this phenomena...talk to strangers so politely, treat the people that u supposedly love with contempt. I stand b4 g-d and i know that it is wrong to esteem anyone more than him (1st) and family -2nd. But if i follow the 1st part with all of my heart, it will be easier to do the 2nd part. We are all g-d's children and i believe that he wants us to be a living example of kindness.

Don't Scold
How must I react when I am scolded while trying to enlighten, or do a favor, for someone?
