Why were we made so small, with such great heavens above our heads?

Because He desired creatures that would know wonder.

How do you know?
I appreciate R. Freeman's enormous effort to bring this daily dose to life, every day.

When it comes to mitzvot, we do know what G-d wants from us. But to assert what He desires is way adventurous. Instead of saying "Because He desired..." would not be better to utter: "Maybe, what He desired..."

No harm intended. Only to pinpoint and separate His truth from ours.
