The Glimmer Yearns

Below, this glimmer of a soul craves to return to her primal essence above. She yearns with an obsession beyond reason, as metal is drawn to a mighty magnet, as a flame yearns its own extinction—for she knows full well she will be nameless there once again.

Trapped within the fetters of time and space, body and persona, her yearning swells to its bursting point, generating a fierce power. The power sparks and flames. Her thirst intensifies; it cannot be quenched.

Such is the divine plan. Now you must harness the power. With it, you can transform an entire world.

That´s how religion for us goes... with time...
This yearning could be the path...
Blessed be the path!

The Glimmer Yearns
The description of this has captivated me. So those who come here and seem to burn so bright many with huge talent and die young many times doing so with the help of drugs, I wonder...they wanted to go back just so bad, was that it? Many I think of are noted for how bright they burned while here and it was something many of us beheld, were so drawn to, yet when they were gone, I have wondered many times if they could have contained themselves to learn more, be here longer.

Rewrite
Five years after composing this, I've rewritten it. It took that long to find the words it needed.

Lose my name?
I hope I do not lose my name, when I get to the world above. Why should G-d create us all so differently, that not one of us is like the other. And when my neshama will be judged, it is not a nameless "something", that is me, Michal, who did bad things and good ones.
And I am looking forward to meet at last those I loved, while in this world.
I am not longing for Nirvana, I am longing to see Hashem. I !!!

Slow Mo
Then why return?

Why not use the power of the yearn to return to tranform the world into the paradise G-d wants by yearning to return above and and fulfilling Torah below?
