Nameless

High upon her precipice, the soul is nameless, for she has no form—she will be whatever she must be.

Peering below, beneath the clouds, she perceives a faint shimmering of her light in the deep, wet earth. There she finds form, and she calls it a name, and she is called when that name is called, for she says, “This is me.”

But it is not her. It is only a faint glimmering of her light within the frame of a distant world.

At what time does the soul get its name?
Once, long years ago, Saul a friend of mine, conveyed his thoughts to say onto me: What is your name, jew?
My answer was a silence that lasted for decades. Today I've known the reason for this silence: That soul was nameless, it will be whatever it will be...[my name is such and such; or such and such my name is] My belief is that the soul gets its name when it gets Divine consciousness.

A beautiful description that could only be expressed by one who has experienced it. The experience is unbounded and the description touches the heart. These thoughts that you share with us all are more than just wisdom, they are Truth.

a nice image
I picture a woman's head bowed peacefully looking down from the heavens to the world from within the clouds with a kerchief on her head and her hands folded, her mouth closed. She is calling to me, to all women with her light. Then it disappeared but I hope forever in my mind. Can I keep faith without visibility?or do I need the reminder and awareness that this is real?I felt inspired to bring joy from this sight into my heart. And to practice to carry the feeling of joy no matter what the circumstance that i am in.

This is most certainly one of the most beautiful 'paintings' of the soul I have ever read. Thank you.

So beautiful!

Names have always seemed important to me. I really like this vision of the relationship between a name, a person, and a soul.
