To Anonymous The Hakhel commandment is indeed to gather during Sukkot, that observance can only be kept when the Holy Temple is standing. Nowadays it is customary to gather as often as possible throughout the entire year. Reply

I don't understand... why are we doing this on Sunday? it says to do it on Sukkoth. These talk about year - not a day... Reply
