Waldorf Salad

Classic salad that'll please adults and children alike

5 green and/or red apples
2 stalks celery
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
¼ cup mayonnaise

Core apples. Chop apples and celery into small pieces; add walnuts and raisins. Mix in enough mayonnaise to coat all pieces, approximately ¼ cup.

USE: Salad bowl
YIELDS: 5 to 6 servings

green apples always taste better as they have a clittle crunchiness

This is also good if you serve for lunch with leftover chicken cut into it.

Must use real mayonnaise
I have tried this recipe with different mayonnaise and if you take eggs and oil etc. and make your own mayo it is the best.
