It is a very awful thing that there is such hate toward Jewish people. The blood libel may not actually be happening at this time but the anti-semitism is rampant. If nothing else I feel it shows the specialness of the Jewish people. They are amazing and I am so very thankful to be counted as one. It seems that there is such a determined effort to destroy them from the face of the earth, that will be impossible. Reply

Kashrut and Blood We observant Jews, salt our meat Twice, in order to make sure that there is No Blood leftover in the meat. I have Never, Never understood how anyone could think that Jews use the blood of Christian children, since we are Not Allowed to eat animal blood, so certainly, we could not eat human blood (besides the fact that humans are not kosher). I have never understood why more Jews don't speak up about our laws of Kashrut - that would End all of this horrible nonsense! Reply

A mindset creates an accusation. Peoples instinctual tendency is to accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of. The people who have a blood ritual (even though symbolic) is Christian, drinking the body and blood of Christ called Communion. At a deep level this must be repulsive to them and now becomes very easy to imagine an "other" (someone not like them) to do this. Reply

Why have Jews not demanded reparations from the church, government and organizations for this crime? This is a way to educate and prevent such nonsense! Give money to poor Holocaust survivors. Reply

Blood Libel I cannot begin to understand how such a patently ridiculous and utterly vile idea could be taken seriously by anyone other than a complete imbecile. Where on earth did such a idea originate ? Reply

attn MA The "proud Yarmulka" is the antidote to the blood libel and all antisemitism: Gentiles respect Jews who are proud of their Judaism, and are ashamed of Jews who hide their Judaism. Reply
