Worldly Occupation

When from Above a blessing descends, a surge of light blasts forth like a solar flare, far beyond anything any world can contain.

So in each world in the chain of worlds, the beings of that world must work hard to prepare receptors to absorb that light and allow it to have an effect in their world. Only then can the light descend to the world that follows theirs in the chain.

But relative to this lower world, the light which the world above was able to absorb is still raw and unbounded. So the process of creating receptors for absorption begins anew.

Until the light arrives at our world, and we must do the work that our world requires so that she, too, may absorb the light.

And that is why we each have our worldly occupations.
