1.
And it shall come to pass afterwards that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy; your elders shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
And it shall come to pass afterwards in the future.
upon all flesh I.e, upon anyone whose heart becomes soft as flesh. Comp. (Ezekiel 36:26) “And I will give you a heart of flesh.”

And even upon the slaves and the maidservants in those days will I pour out My spirit.

And I will perform signs in the heavens and on the earth: Blood, fire, and pillars of smoke.
and pillars of smoke Heb. וְתִימְרוֹת. Perpendicular pillars of smoke, as tall as a palm tree.

The sun shall turn to darkness, and the moon to blood, prior to the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
shall turn to darkness to embarrass those who prostrate themselves to the sun.

And it shall come to pass that whoever shall call in the name of the Lord shall be delivered, for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be a deliverance, as the Lord said, and among the survivors whom the Lord invites.
And it shall come to pass that whoever shall call etc. as… said And where did He say it? (Deut. 28:10), “And all the peoples of the earth shall see that the Name of the Lord is called on you.” [from Mechilta, Ex. 12: 25]

whom the Lord invites Heb. קֹרֵא, an expression of those invited to a banquet or to the service of the king, an expression of invitation.
