When you come to a place that seems outside of G‑d’s realm, too coarse for light to enter, and you want to run away—

Know that there is no place outside of G‑d, and rejoice in your task of uncovering Him there.

Rise Above This World
There is 'none else besides Him'. He has arranged every circumstance to advance us to the goal of Creation.... We endure Exile, obstacles to push us in the desired direction.

If we remain comfortable in our state, we would never move to change - to elevate us to a Higher World - to move beyond our limited boundary of self, then we will merit revealation of His World. We have to find in our hearts to justify Divine Providence for the sake of His wonderful goal for us.

staying put
We are talking about Hashem. Staying put might not always mean in the physical sense. Maybe it means to remain faithful even when we are in a tough spot? Sometimes for me the hardest time to daven is when things are not going well. To the person with a sick child hang in there. There are others with Hashem in their lives that are praying for you and your family and you are not able to feel them right now.

The Rabbi takes us to a very high spiritual realm. The coarseness are created by the husks of the Kli (vessel) into which light enters. The husks are the imperfections within ourselves which we are as yet unable to correct. As only light and desire exist, the husks are as a strong desire in which we presently fail. Because of this incapability of rectification the light seems all the more bright. It is than that we fall from our current step, (madrega). By learning the lesson of the fall (From the left line, Itzhak) we raise MAN to request assistance and divine intervention from this we gain the strength to move onto the next step and in so doing we gain the previous step from which we fell.. In uncovering G_d we equivelate our attributes to the previous step because we only ever learn in retrospect. We learn what it was that held us back. God reveals himself at every stage of development. To the undeveloped he is ominous and scary, as we advance we discover his love and mercy.

I second that (somewhat)
You have said something very profound here, Rabbi.

Comprehending that is one thing though, and following such advice is another.

I've always found it very difficult to stay put to where I supposedly was placed before G-d.

The Rebbe used to say that we all have our particular parents for a reason and a purpose before G-d.

G-d apparently has a purpose in our being born into the particular circumstances to which we were born.

Let me ask you, Rabbi:

Does G-d have a purpose in making a mistake and/or error (or, at least, that appears that way to us) in where he places us in this world before Him?

For some of us, I suspect that G-d would have preferred it if we didn't stay put to where He first placed us before Him in this world.

After all, this might not be something you would be saying to any of us if-

our ancestors hadn't run away from Egypt in the first place?

It is amazing how G-d's timing works. With my daughter in the NICU suffering for the past three months, while my mind is occupied with her, my coworkers, who have always lacking in belief of G-d, seem ravenous and are more than happy to add to my distress. All I want to do is run away from this place and hide with my precious daughter.

But that wouldn't solve anything. And even though my coworkers are G-dless and try spreading darkness...G-d is here somewhere. I will stay and allow His light to penetrate this dark place.

Thank you, Tzvi.
