Giving Doctors A Helping Hand
If only every doctor in the world could read this than I think patients would be much better off.
Most doctors live in a world of their own. They play G-d and tell you how much longer you or your loved one has to live. By doing this they leave the patient and family in a delicate state at best. My Mother, may she rest in peace, was written off countless times and never once were the doctors right.
Doctors read patients the riot act who are overweight and does this help? Not by a long shot, but does it stop them? No. All it does it keep patients from seeking medical care they need sooner.
Maybe I will print out your words and before the doctor speaks I will hand this to him. Be Well
