331. Einstein’s G‑d

Print
E-mail

Einstein received acclaim for demonstrating that energy and matter are one. The scientist who demonstrates how all forces are one in a unified theory will receive even greater acclaim.

So, since we all agree that someone will eventually establish this, why not accept it right now, and we’ll call it G‑d?

Gd is not a Singularity, I think
In complex analysis, we see that singularities exist. Further they display strange properties. For example, if you integrate around a closed path, the integral is zero. Except, that is, if the closed path includes one or more singularities. Then each time circulating about the singularity you gain something -- like walking up a circular staircase. I'd say that Gd is more than a singularity, but I think Gd uses the singularities. For what purpose, I don't know. Shades of the Tower of Babel.

Dr Posner
To whom do you address and or refer to ??Please include an example befitting of your imputation too , to quicken our minds with greater clarity and understanding ,esp.as under & non-graduates,mostly.NB! It is often difficult to understand what people are saying ,indeed when they are absentees and unknowns. It is only when one is well known to the other ,then we can understand and accept one another on a common platform ,allowing for the odd assumptions to fill any gaps - based on a perennial past intimate relationship.Do you agree ?

"One could turn your argument around, G-d forbid!"
MY argument?? Learn to understand what people say before responding foolishly.

Einstein and God and Math

In finite math, we use 1 + 1 = 2. But Cantor, when exploring infinite maths, found that 1 + 1 = 1.

Since we describe Gd as infinite, and since we describe Gd as 1, we seem to be on track.

The Omniprescent G-d
Faith in G-d is like the wind, we don't see him yet we believe. We do in fact feel the effects of the wind. I do in fact feel the presence of G-d. And I actually listen for his voice. So G-d does in fact reveal himself to the human senses Thank you so very much for this inspiring article. Yasha Koach!

It has never been addition in His Creation
everything is 1x1= 1 no matter how many times you repeat the process it always end up ONE

Einstein
Although Einstein was not religious, his perceptions were not as negative as Carl Sagan (atheistic).
Secular scientists often discount G‑d, and employ their "unified theory" to support the position that all life is measurable energy and matter, and there is no divine spirit. They have a different finite definition of "energy."
However, everything consists of the G‑d, both spiritual and physical, and everything continues in the G‑d.
Our "unified theory" is significantly different from secular scientists because it includes the overwhelming presence of the ONE AND ONLY ONE.

Einstein and Gd
"Einstein received acclaim for demonstrating that energy and matter are one."
Sort of -- like ice and water are one. Ever get splashed in the face with an ice ball? It hurts. It doesn't splash.

"The scientist who demonstrates how all forces are one in a unified theory will receive even greater acclaim."
Most probably.

"So, since we all agree that someone will eventually establish this, why not accept it right now, and we'll call it G-d?"
The TRICK is to explain, not to name.
"1 + 1 = 2" is to name. Explaining is much harder.

I think th problem comes from the word "demonstrate." If G-d wanted us to accept this, Gd would put it in Gd's Torah.

Einstein; was academically aloof - like a demigod.
Att Anonymous;
You said :" Einstein described judasim as childish and belief in G-d a succumbing to weakness,
strange how faith can be so illusive to some ."
I say : "On the contrary ,flip the coin and see the other side too .This side reveals that when we become so arrogant and demigod like , that we fail as fallibles ; and are blind to Truth ,enlarging our self centredness with egotistical pride and choosing vanity, we also unwisely become unholy ,irreligious ,separated and independent of G-d."
