thank-you-- this came at the right time on the right day. You know it's a bit like photography. there's always so much emphasis on exposure--on whether something is overexposed and so little emphasis or reference to "negative light"-studying things in half light and working with shadows... This reminds me that there were two great lights created-- one for the day and the other for the night. We forget that the moon is also very important because we tend to ignore it.
people frequently criticise me for faith, but they never see that I often work in shadows and with shadows that adds much depth to the picture. They don't understand the value of half-light and cannot appreciate the depth found in shadows or admire the moon. When we walk in shadows, we trust our feet, not our faith. Our feet must feel the path and if we stumble, then we take a solid fall. When I have no faith and cannot see the heavens above me, I look to my feet. I don;t consider this faith.

Belief
If someone states that they are concerned that they don't believe, then they are offering a plea for understanding. To respond that "why does believe concern you" belittles the question and trivializes it. Some don't have unwavering belief in a God because they are questioning. Your response gives new meaning to insensitivity to a universal need...the need to understand and comprehend a higher truth.
