If you think it is important to introduce character building books into the school classroom, & meditation techniques (like yoga, tai chi, & qigong) which help kids control their behavior & be peaceable then I ask you to call or write letters to your local, state (province) & national school administrators, requesting that students study books which teach kids how to live & interact with each other in a compassionate, sensitive & responsible manner, & meditation techniques (such as yoga, tai chi or qigong) which teach children how to control themselves & interact with each other in a productive manner. Ask them to instate a curriculum which teaches social consciousness & compassion.

MUCH CAN BE DONE TO TEACH MORALITY IN CLASSROOMS
... without resorting to the destruction of the Separation of Church and State. Three ideas: (1) Junior and Senior High Schools should be sexually segregated in order that school not be the locus of pre-mature or even mature sexual activity; (2) American Government and Legal Principles should be an integrated part of the Social Studies curricula; (3) Morality and Ethics and related Law and Religious Law should be taught on a comparative basis inclusive of major religions and major legal traditions.
