From a letter by the Rebbe:

You write that you and your spouse always seem to disagree on every issue. But this is the natural way we were created. We all have our own minds. It’s alright to disagree.

Now you must learn to give in.

50 50?
FYI.

Marriage is not supposed to be 50 50.

It's supposed to be 100% and 100%

100% of you thinking totally about here.

And 100% of her thinking totally about you.

I think when you do your 100% she'll do hers.

Disagreement
The point the Rebbe makes is really amazing. So simple, so light, and I am learning to say so true. I apply this for certain conflicts I have the tendency to develop, not the husband-wife kind of thing. My question is how much do I give in? In marriage I think the compromise is part of becoming one, but in daily living among people and especially with our enemies, how far can I allow? Is there a certain border/line I have to draw and say you pass no more?
