Between Woman and Man

When the Rebbe first came to America and began to work for his father-in-law, the previous rebbe, he was put in charge of the girls' school. Since then, he always showed a sensitivity to women's issues, especially education. Publications for children had to have as many pictures of girls as boys, and any new campaign had to include women as much as men.

The Rebbe gave many public talks addressed to women only, but much of the following is taken from letters of the Rebbe to couples with marital difficulties -one of the largest categories of the Rebbe's letters. There is an awesome beauty in those letters and talks, as the Rebbe synchronizes profound mysticism with practical, workable advice.
