Contemplative Sheep

Oh, contemplative sheep
How I recall the days
Of simple sun and simple field
When time was mine to keep,
And time was mine to praise
The beauty there revealed.
And when I went astray,
The faithful shepherd there
Would gently guide my drifting,
So I might find my way
And return to places fair
And breath the air uplifting
Of contemplative sheep.
