There are many truths.

There is a truth for every being and for every particle of the universe, for each one reflects its Master in a different way.

To seek truth means more than finding your own truth. It means finding a truth that works for you and for the other guy, for now and forever, in this place and everywhere, for the body and for the soul, for the sage and for the young, innocent child.

The higher the truth, the fewer boundaries it knows.

For Mark in Ottawa
The Talmud tells the story of an extended debate between the students of Shammai and the students of Hillel. Finally, they heard a voice from heaven declare, "Both are the words of the living G-d! But the halacha is according to the students of Hillel."

Now that's Jewish.

The Higher Truth
Absolutly brilliant description of the truth to aspire to. Thank you. This sets me a much better target to set for my search for the truth in whatever I may seek.

Many truths?
I was taught that there is one unalterable truth. Many truths implies relativism. Isn't that against Jewish principles?

The higher the truth the fewer the boundries
I am wondering abut this specific truth and how to address it? Are some individuals being bashed around because of the decpetion or ambition of other individuals? The deceptive means are small acts like a misdated paper, subtle and then denied. Intermittently these acts are a possible honest mistake. It is impossible to explain the real different from the imagined acts without sounding confusing and keeping a diary of real proof.

I recently read a newspaper article that a person is going to court because a neighbor looked scarey to them walking down the street. Or a neighbor did not respond when asked to turn the music down. In the article, the person went to court and stated "the neighbor does it just to annoy me." Is he paranoid? "He was asked and did not repond." How do we address this out of court? Is it a sense of entitlement? Inability to talk? Small acts of bullying led to heinous crimes in the past. What truth are we buying into and at what cost to our connection to our souls

Higher truth
It is so true: The higher the truth, the fewer boundary it knows.
And we are connected to this truth, that has no boundaries. And the nearer we get to it, the less boundaries for us tiny finite human beings.
Thanks, Rabbi Freeman, to tell us this in the beginning of a new day!
