Medical Licensure is a jealously guarded fiefdom, in the hands of bureaucrats in each state. Where the politicians see the Constitutional phrase "Interstate Commerce" as the key that unlocks power over everything except that which it is limited from exercising. This of course is the opposite of the Constitution's philosophy which is to list exclusively the enumerated Powers to which the Federal Government has legitimate access. But, take a True and Legitimate case of interference with Interstate Commerce, and silence! That 50+ separate boards can deign to give a physician "permission" to practice that which was trained for, or not based on Arbitrary rules, which cannot be contested in civil court is an outrage. BUT, the people will get the doctors they deserve!

Another survivor
24 years ago my family was told that I would die; when I didn't die, the diagnosis was changed to "total mental and physical deficit;" the third modification was "never walk again." After all, in the medical world no one can walk without sensation; in G-ds world, all things are possible.
My neurosurgeon saved my life as far as brain surgery goes; his comment a month afterwards was "G-d guided my hands."
When I asked my PT if I would get use of my left hand back, she said "no, but nothing could make me happier for you to prove me wrong." She was my favorite ; she gave me reality, but did not destroy hope; she taught me to do everything with one hand, a skill I need on "bad" days.
After a year of intensive hand therapy, medicine gave up and said "nothing more can be done" ... with G-d as my only healer and a little work on my part, I now have some gross motion and can make a fist with my left hand.
Today, I go to hospitals and share my story; G-d has blessed me.

This is so completely true! doctors often give death sentences and unfortunately through the sheer power of the mind, they become true. Think good and it will be good!

Death Sentence
The doctors gave me 24 hours to live in 2008. Guess what! G-d had other plans and already in 2010 almost 2011, I am still here Blessed be His name.

It is interesting to note that the Hippocratic oath that Doctors make starts as follows "I swear by Apollo the Physician and Asclepius and Hygieia and Panaceia and all the gods, and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will fulfill according to my ability and judgment this oath and this covenant" and I can find no place in the Torah that speaks about Doctors being ordained from above to heal. In fact the Torah speaks about G-d Ropheka (Exodus 15 v16) who heals us, physically and spiritually. I do however believe that there is a place for Doctors and in many situations they are able to save lives, however, G-d and His Torah give us the answers, instruction and hope. Infliction is often G-d getting our attention (physically and emotionally) we need to look within and deal with these root issues and our dependecy needs to be firstly with G-d and his Torah not on man (many of which have made the oath to foreign gods).

I was emmersed in a good thought from what my doctor said to me the other day...I was sulking and saying to her that I was too sickly to go to The Hebrew College for my Masters even if it is on line and she said "You Will do this" and I stopped my whinning and realized I am going to DO this!

G-d is present in both
Too many people need to know this. Too many people need to awaken from their dimension of medical dependency and lack of knowing themselves. Ignoring it only puts the pressure on nature to jolt them out of a locked in state of mind. Personally, I prefer the first way.
Rebbe means teacher. Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson is seventh in a prestigious line of chassidic rebbes. Even after his passing, he is known worldwide as simply "The Rebbe"- a Rebbe for any person in the world. This book offers every person a taste of the Rebbe's wisdom, condensed from over 50 years of letters, public talks, private conversations, and written works. Presented in an accessible format.
