To return takes but a moment. One moment a being is at an ultimate distance from her G-d and from her true self, the next she is in complete union. The power to return is beyond time.

I really feel connected with this thought. This is how I explain to have felt close to Judaism 5 years ago, and how close I feel again today ... this time not to give up the faith and the passion. The power HAS returned on / to me! It his divine indeed.

Daily Dose - Beyond time
I wonder about the use of "her" and "she" for "a being" in this message. Was that choice because the word "neshama" (soul) is feminine?

Comment on Thought for the Day "Beyond Time"
What a great thought. Furthermore, the power to return is not only beyond time, it is beyond space, and space-time, and the speed of light, etc. True, the dynamic of returning does take place primarily in the spiritual realm, where there is no distance, time, or laws of energy and inertia. Or at least these dimensions and laws are not like our physical dimensions and laws. But, in either realm, instantaneous travel is still quite an amazing concept. It's seems almost "divine."
