121. Keep Going

On their exodus from Egypt, towards Mount Sinai, the Jewish people arrived at an obstacle—the Red Sea.

They divided into four parties.

One advocated mass suicide.

One said to surrender and return.

One prepared to fight.

One began to pray.

G‑d spoke to Moses and said, “Why are you crying out to Me? I told you to travel straight ahead. Keep going and you will see there is no obstacle!”

The Jewish people kept going
and the obstacle became a miracle.

keep going
Always be strong and courageous, that's what He commanded us to do. There are no obstacles in life as long as we have Him in our heart.

To follow G-d Instructions
None of the parties were about to do the right thing!
That's the difference between to have a leader who follows G-d instructions and another who doesn't. I pray for the leaders of my country to follow G-d instructions.

Moses remembered his faith
Obstacles in life are only the manifestations of fear.
Moses remembered the second commandment, and at that very moment all the obstacles disappeared!

Keep Going
I believe any obstacles we have can become a miracle, if we only believe and trust in God. Thank you for posting this article it was very nicely written.

Keep Going- Brick Walls
Thank you so much. This is a very inspiring piece, not only for us as Jews but for everyone. We live in a time where there are many obstacles. G-d will handle it if we just listen. I will try to learn from this.

Yes, G-d spoke to Moses, and we operate in silence
If only we had a direct divine message to go forward when prospects look bleak, it would not be hard to keep going forward. When one has prayed and prayed, and the obstacles continue to pile up, one might be forgiven for wanting to give up.
