26. The Moment

Every moment has two faces:

It is a moment defined by the past from which it extends and by the future to which it leads.

And it is a moment for itself, with its own meaning, purpose and life.

The Moment
In the Daily Dose, "The Moment", it is described as two Faces; Past and Future. Is it not three Faces? Because the present itself has a face.

THe moment
Love your stuff. BUT I'm too busy trying to stay in the NOW. If I got one foot in the past and one foot in the future I'm missing TODAY. And TODAY is for Mitzvot and Torah. Shalom

The Moment
From my 2 cents I would add - mostly for me - Embrace, savor and live each one. Who knows if that special moment will pass this way again.
I enjoy the Daily Dose. I appreciate the few words that ties the thoughts together as a carpenter who uses the necessary amount of nails to join pieces of wood without ruining the integrity of the wood. Thank you

the moment
Every moment comes with what affected it and what it will affect.
"how" it affects and "how" it will affect, is up to us.

Just in General
I read the Daily Dose every day. I cannot miss one. Each one has a subtle little thought which opens the way to others.
Yes I think about them when waiting for the train, drinking my coffee, or even with some even while at work!!
Many are steadfast in my memory, for example those recently about Light. These have changed my approach to everyday life.
Yes I respect their plain wisdom seen at first look, but in fact though this wisdom covers a world of far reaching profound thought, understanding and belief.
As a Jew, the Daily Dose mean a lot to me. Thank You.
