Rabbi Nochum Kurinsky is the director of the Chabad @ the Beaches center for
Jewish life in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Together with Dr Mendel Galer, he recently
opened the Beaches Jewish Recovery Center servicing the Jacksonville beaches and
Ponte Vedra area. Rabbi Kurinsky also serves as a chaplain for a number of the
recovery centers in the Jacksonville area. Jewish people in recovery can
participate in a variety of programs geared toward the recovery community,
including regular 12 step meetings, lectures, sober Shabbat meals and holiday
programs.
