Funny and Comfortable
I read somewhere that without joy the Shekinah goes into exile.
May we all continue to laugh and find joy in each other and be comfortable doing it.

Humor in Daily life
While I agree humor gives us a pause in the world's madness, we need to remember what kind of humor we use. Often self depricating humor was used to have people laugh (mostly at us), but does that really work? We all need to learn the fine art of humor that enlights and does not use other's problems. We all need the uplifting health that this joy gives us.

Jewish humour
great article! Being a Holocaust survivor myself, people are often taken back, even shocked when they listen to holocaust survivors coming together,we often crack the blackest jokes to each other, which sometimes make us about falling off our chairs.I think it is a great gift to us,being able to make fun and laugh in the face of evil...by the way,Jews are seemingly the only people who can make fun of themselves, not other nations/groups
