This won't happen again for another hundred years. I may forget by then. Should I wake up at 2:00 AM to experience this once-in-a-lifetime moment?

Thank you for the interesting article on the moment thing.

I'd like to entertain another idea for the moment:
Army time: 17:37:47 followed by the Jewish year 5767 = 17 37 47 57 67

This happens every day this year

I know I missed 27 - but thats alright - its an attractive skip that will probably cause me to lose sleep trying to figure it out

That's nothing- remember the summer of 1990 when the clock read:

12:34:56 7/8/90

That is one event that won't repeat ever again.

Tom, do you remember what you were doing at that moment?

It is only in North America that this will be in May. For virtually all other Jews, it will be 5th June!

Tom, it's going to repeat in 83 years, right?
In July 8th 2090, just about 83 years from now, just a little past midnight, we're going to have the 12:34:56 7/8/90 again. Right Tom?

Won't 2:03:04 happen again at 2 PM? It's twice in a day, not to mention twice in a lifetime! Last year, it was 1:02:03 04/05/06. Two years ago it was 1:02 03/04/05. Something like this happens every year.

Focus
Ok, thank you everyone who has racked their brains to come up with other sequences. The purpose of the article was to help us accept EVERY moment as a gift, and as truly extraordinary.

Perhaps we could take a few more moments to absorb this point. Then we can go back to number sparring.

Have a nice moment,

Yisrael Rice

To Michele
But the calendar purists would argue that the time must come before the date : ).

time occurrences
Could it be argued then that this phenomenon actually occurs twice in that day? Why so hung up on the AM occurrence? /and your right you should cherish every single second for it could be your last.

Don't Forget
Next year, there will be a moment when the time is 11:11:11 on 11/11/11. This will occur three times that day (I include 1:11:11 on 11/11/11).

In 2012, there will be 12:12:12 twice on 12/12/12 (not four times).

As Yisrael Rice said, every moment is important!
