The Toddling Life

How often do we let out our greatest frustrations on the very people whom we care most about? A sign of love and trust, perhaps, but hurtful, nonetheless, to those closest to us

The Toddling Life
I am wondering how you answered your friend's email I can understand her sentiments very well. Though lately things have begun to 'look up' a bit, it seems as though the harder we try, the harder it gets.

Toddling....
Poorly expounded examples.... no real insight at all.

First of all I love your articles they always give me strength and of course laughs. Maybe you should start blogging.
This message in your article is one that is hard to hear. That maybe G-d is not punishing us rather just pushing us to grow. Noone should feel bad if they feel as your friend as long as they grow from the experience. I have been there but have decided to pledge myself to Torah and mitzvos regardless of what will come in my path. There are days where it is harder than others. But those days are lessening.
I guess all we need to know we already learned in indergarten or even earlier.
Keep up the great insights.

Profound Insight
Beautiful essay which helped to clarify toddling life for me as well, why our boy hits his mother, why frustrations are shared most emphatically with loved ones
