Lyrics

Moshe Rabbeinu sent a leader from all tribes
To go to Canaan and to describe
The appearance of the land and of the people too
Are they strong or weak, many or few

The twelve meraglim to Eretz Canaan went
In exploring forty days were spent
When they returned they said the people are too strong
The land is harsh, to go there is wrong

They spoke loshon hara, faith in Hashem they lacked
They said to mitzrayim we feel we must go back
Calev and Yehoshua argued with the ten
We know we will win with the help of Hashem

With milk and honey the land does flow
Here are the grapes and fruits that grow
The ten meraglim were punished and died
They had no trust in Hashem they didn’t rely
