Sing The Song

It is customary to sing “Haneirot Halalu,” and/or “Maoz Tzur” after lighting the Menorah.

Here is another Chanukah song we sing:

I have a little Dreidel,
I made it out of clay.
And when it’s dry and ready;
Oh Dreidel I shall play.

Oh Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel,
I made you out of clay;
And when you’re dry and ready;
Then Dreidel I shall play.

I am a 12 year old boy who now lives in Mauritius because of the violent crime in South Africa. I had to leave my school King David Victory park and am now in an international school. I am one out of two jewish boys there. We had to do a project on religious holiday. Everyone did Christmas thanks to your wonderful site I was not alone and did my project on chanukah. Thanks to you all for making me feel not so alone.
