Marilyn, OT, Alyn Hospital, Jerusalem March 8, 2015

In a therapeutic camp for children wuth unilateral cerebral palsy at the ALYN Hospital in Jerusalem, we used yellow sticky paper instead of the yellow paint, twisted yellow and black pipecleaners before cutting them to make the antennae, and glued on plastic eyes and a red pipecleaner smile. All this encouraged use of two hands together, something very difficult for these children to do.The parents were told the idea came from the HABAD site! Thank-you so much for sharing! Reply

I have a daycare with 6 kids. This was very easy. Instead of the black tape, we glued thin black ribbon and yellow & black pipe cleaners twisted together for the antennas. All the parents LUVed it! Thanks Reply
