Marshmallow Flower Cupcakes

Marshmallow Flower Cupcakes

You will need:

  • Cupcakes
  • Frosting
  • Mini kosher marshmallows
  • Colored sugar and/or sprinkles
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Green twizzlers, for the stems

  1. Make cupcakes in the flavor of your choice. Use your favorite recipe or a box mix.
  2. Frost the cupcakes. Don't use too much frosting—just enough to make the marshmallows stick.
  3. Using the scissors, cut the marshmallows in half diagonally.
  4. Dip the sticky side of each marshmallow piece into colored sugar or sprinkles.
  5. Stick the marshmallows on the cupcake, to create the flower shape. Begin from the outside and work your way in.
  6. Optional—display the cupcakes with green twizzlers as the stems.

I made these for Shavuos and they are so cute!! I had regular size marshmallows and they came out too big for my cupcakes, so I just cut them horizontally and got like 3 pieces from each marshmallow. Just a little tip ( my cupcakes were a little small. Thanks so much these come out so good and are so much fun to make!! Reply
