Agree with Chavi Chavi's comments are correct. Too many of the MC's 'jokes' are irreverent and distasteful: not at all appropriate for celebrating Jewish children's accomplishments.
Meanwhile, the joy in Benny's singing helps to partially make up for the condescending attitude of the MC and the inappropriate remarks.
The children show remarkable fortitude in dealing with the MC's brazenness; especially Etan. Their accomplishments and maturity are remarkable, and should have had more respect and courtesy shown to them, instead of the MC trying to draw attention to himself, and how witty he thought he was.
The 4 winners show steadfastness and determination of inward spirit by focusing on others, and staying on course with presenting their accomplishments. They are a good reflection of Jewish character. Reply
