Kids in the Kitchen
this is great! It will make it easy for my kids to participate in the cooking--following directions as well as adding, mixing, etc. Thanks!

The blessing Ha'adoma
You should at least write the blessing in hebrew to. It will help people to read hebrew as well as memorize the blessing.

hebrew
Thanks for pointing that out! We've added the blessing in Hebrew.

matzah meal
Thanks Helaine! You can certainly include matzah meal but it is not necessary, the latkes stay together nicely without.

safeness
I am not sure tht this is a safe recipe for kids because of the peeling.

This recipe is perfictly safe for children, they should be allowed to use graters and peelers under adult supervision if they are young. I doubt they are expecting a 3 year old to read the recipe and prepare by themselves! I will be making it with my children this week. Looks fantastic :)

How many approx does this make?
Thank you, I am introducing my Son's 4K class to potato Latke and Jewish traditions in celebration of Hanukkah. My Son is the only Jewish kid in class so I am trying to make sure I give the kids a good understanding and not above their heads. Thanks for this website!
