Troubleshooting Java Games

If the game does not show, please follow the following instructions (For Internet Explorer running on Windows):

  1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows (you should print these instructions, or copy them to Notepad).
  2. Go to the Windows Control Panel (Start > Settings > Control Panel, or Start > Control Panel).
  3. Windows XP: If you are in "Category View" switch to "Classic View" via the left menu.
  4. Click on Internet Options, Advanced tab, scroll down to Java (Sun) and uncheck the box (Use JRE...) if it's checked and click OK.

Open Internet Explorer, go to the Chabad.org games page you were at, and it should work now. If it does not, try these additional steps:

  1. Back in the Control Panel, find the Java icon (there may be more than one so do the following by both) and open it
  2. Find the option to delete all Temporary Internet Files and delete them. Depending on your version of Java, the option you may have would be to delete the Cache. You may have to actually go to the folder the .class files are cached in as indicated in the Java control panel console you are looking at, and manually delete all of them.

Open Internet Explorer, go to the Chabad.org games page you were at, and it should work now.
