When is Passover in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015?

Passover Dates

The holiday of Pesach, or Passover, falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Nissan 15-22. Here are coinciding secular dates for the upcoming years:

2011:   April 18-26

2012:   April 6-14

2013:   March 25-April 2

2014:   April 14-22

2015:   April 3-11

Note: The Jewish calendar date begins at sundown of the night beforehand. Thus all holiday observances begin at sundown on the secular dates listed, with the following day being the first full day of the holiday. (Thus, the first Passover seder is held on the evening of the first date listed.) Jewish calendar dates conclude at nightfall.

The first two days of Passover (from sundown of the first date listed, until nightfall two days later) are full-fledged, no-work-allowed holiday days. The subsequent four days are Chol Hamoed, when work is allowed, albeit with restrictions. Chol Hamoed is followed by another two full holiday days.

marriage dates
Hi Bernie,
I'm not affiliated with this site but it doesn't appear that your questions was answered. The relevant dates in spring 2012 when most observant Jews would not schedule a marriage are from Monday, April 23 through May 9, the period of time between the beginning of the month of Iyar and the holiday of Lag Ba'omer. Some are strict regarding the entire period after Passover through Lag Ba'omer. As you probably know, observant Jews also do not get married on the Sabbath or on any holidays during which work is forbidden.

Mazal tov!

Flour, Passover date
"Bob: The first seder is on the eve of the 15th as Biblically mandated"

"'You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of the month, and then the entire assembly of the community of Isra'el will slaughter it at dusk. They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the two sides and top of the door-frame at the entrance of the house in which they eat it.

Passover
Why did the Angel of Death need a signal? Why did G-d punish the innocent children of the oppressed Egyptian peasants? Why did G-d "harden Pharaoh's heart"? Curious that this holy celebration is so steeped in blood....

Flour, Passover date
Evans: On Passover we may not use flour from any of the five grains, any other processed foods used during the holiday must have a kosher for Passover certification, for more information please see chabad.org/1742

Bob: The first seder is on the eve of the 15th as Biblically mandated and as established according to the Jewish calendar. The Passover offering was brought on the afternoon of the 14th, but the Seder was held and the holiday of Passover began, on the 15th which is why the Seder is then.
