When Is Yom Kippur in Other Years?

Yom Kippur falls on the Hebrew calendar date of 10 Tishrei. Here are the coinciding secular dates for the upcoming years:

2018: September 18 at sundown - nightfall on September 19

2019: October 8 at sundown - nightfall on October 9

2020: September 27 at sundown - nightfall on September 28

Note: The Jewish calendar date begins at sundown of the night beforehand. Thus all holiday observances begin at sundown on the secular dates listed, with the following day being the first full day of the holiday. Jewish calendar dates conclude at nightfall.

Yom Kippur Kol Nidre schedule I missed Kol Nidre till next year September 22, 2015 but I should be leaving my home around 5:50pm until 10:00pm and next day September 23, 2015 the day service in Congregation Ohr Torah in Woodmere and I should have the nice Cantor from Yemen as a Yemeni guy who will be the cantor from the Middle East as I will be held with Kol Nidre in the service anytime soon as the sun goes down prior to be fasting. Same date Yom Kippur and all Jewish holidays are observed on the same date on the Hebrew calendar, whichever secular date that coincides with applies to wherever one lives. Reply

to Matti In this case, Yom Kippur supersedes Shabbat so we do not make kiddush nor the blessing on challah, nor do we eat or drink anything else. We do eat two full meals on Friday before the start of the fast. For more information please see: Fasting when Yom Kippur is on Shabbat Reply
