A rabbi, a college student, and a gefilte fish share their feelings about chanukah.

That had to be the funniest video I've seen in about 23 years! I especially liked the cameo by the gefilte fish - if he doesn't get the Oscar for best performance by a food product, it'll be a crime! Happy Chanukah!

Tiptoes along threshold of irritation but to the producers' credit, never crosses the line. I may even share this with a friend or two.

The "What's your favorite part of Hannukah" clip was brilliant! Bravo!
|
I usually enjoy your videos. They are thought provoking, interesting and very well done. Your latest Chanukah video seems to be the exception. The word silly is an understatement.
|
This little video was the bomb. It was just wonderful.
|
Very funny video and looks great. Keep up the fun work.
|
Cute & fun dolls & animation, but humor I'm afraid, rather weak.
|
Very good! I enjoy it. Happy is the people that loves almighty G'd.

It Is an amaizing video clip.

Chanukah is a great holiday in that it promotes Jewish pride and reminds us of our possibilities as a people. However, the defeat of Antiochus Epihanes brought the Maccabees to power and led to the tyrrany of their descendant, Herod ha-rusha. Although Herod was more gentile than Jew and a puppet of Rome (Edom), he was King in Judea and therefor considered a Jewish ruler.

Great job - this video was funny and kids love it. Keep up the good work.

I thought that was the most adorable video...you have to see it twice for the full punch of the thing....the first time, it sort of hmmm.. makes you wonder, the second time I laughed out loud!! and passed it to a colleague who also liked the Gefilte fish with feeeeeeelings!
|
It´s amazing to see how are wonderful people working so hard to make a very nice video as this one.CONGRATULATIONS

Wow!!! This the funniest!!! we did a special family projection on the computer and we all loved it !!!

My favorite part of Chanukah is lighting the menorah. I made one out of clay at school. It won't burn up! (3 yr old) I like playing dreidel. My dreidel is made out of play-do clay. It will not explode like Gefilte Fish's! (5 yr.old) Here's a song we made up for you: " Dreidel dreidel I made it out of clay, Chaunkah wake up we'll sing this day! "

oy iz dus a video clip! de rebbe iz a self-hating Yid, de yingl iz a nahr un de gefilte fish kimt aroys fin a food processor, me seyt dokh. wus iz mit yiddishkeyt bekumn. git yontef!

very good piece of work, I was impressed.
|
where is a cheesy latke? it is definately a cheesy video. the chocolate gelt trick only brings gentile stereotype of stingy jews, and that hurts. I thought that it was a latke on the screen but was disappointed to learn it was a gefilte fish.
|
In a recent comment, a viewer expressed concern that the chocolate gelt trick may encourage an antisemitic stereotype of the "stingy jew." First, and this is of the utmost importance, I apologize for the mistake and pray that I may have the strength and wisdom to avoid such actions in the future. However, and this is the second point, I would like to express my most sincere and utter horror that the stereotype of the "stingy jew" has left the limitation of monitary greed and has transformed into an outrages and completely unfouinded accuastion that jews have a lust for chocolate that will drive them to dishonesty. Coffee cake maybe, but CHOCOLATE?
PS. The Gefilte Fish character is only 73% fish product and may contain potato or potato by-products. I hope that alleviates your dissapointment.
